A Meanderwithmeg Year In Review

A Meanderwithmeg Year In Review

The past twelve months have afforded me plenty of opportunities to think about how it feels to travel. I love to try and deconstruct this for you in a way that I hope you can either relate or take inspiration.

Basically, I’m all about the feels.

In case you missed, here’s what was hot on Meanderwithmeg in 2016. (Cue the warm and fuzzies).

Pre-Trip Feelings

We’ve all been there. You’ve booked a flight and are now secretly feeling the twist of your knickers as you panic about your upcoming trip. Check out what I’ve got to say on the subject of what it’s like to take your first baby steps into the world of travel:

Travelling Solo

It’s one thing to plan a trip with your besties but another to work up the nerve to go-it alone. These articles should hopefully get your head into game changing mode. Realise you can travel alone if that’s what your heart wants!

On The Road

Hmm, you’re mid-way through your trip and you have to admit to yourself that something’s not quite right. You may feel like a total failure at this point as clearly, you repel travel. But before you get into a real funk about it and book your return flight home, have a read of some of these blogs to help you understand you are not alone.

Choosing A Life Of Travel

Whether it’s down to money, responsibilities at home, your career or something else, choosing to travel for a period of time is a huge deal. So take a browse through these articles if you feel like you may want to make a change to your current lifestyle and see what it’s like over in my world. I promise it’s not scary.

Meanderwithmeg Year Review

I’d like to take the opportunity to thank you for reading in 2016. Your support has been immense! I’ve really enjoyed sharing my thoughts on travel with you. I hope that you may relate to an idea, emotion or experience I write about, inspiring you to incorporate travel into your own life in some way.

I’m excited to share more thoughts with you in 2017, particularly on: how it feels to travel, what it’s like to travel as a solo female and what it’s like to travel for the first time.

What was your favourite post this year? Where did I miss the mark? Let me know.

If there is anything you’d like me to tackle in a future blog – any burning questions you have about travel or a concern about solo travel – I’d love to hear from you!

Love it? Pin it!
